The Oxford Time Tour is a unique chronological trip through Oxford’s colourful history from the Saxon origins of the town to the present day – with a time traveller!
See some of Oxford’s best-known landmarks – and some hidden gems – and hear about the people and events that made the city and the university world famous. This is a tour for all ages but especially designed for families, with a spotting list for younger children.
Tours leave from outside St Mary’s University Church (High St, Oxford OX1 4BJ, map below). Our travels take us past many of Oxford’s colleges, including the three oldest, and Christ Church, home of King Charles I for four years! Morning tours take in the beautiful Christ Church meadow with stunning views of the college; afternoon tours offer the chance to visit Exeter College (when open) where Tolkien started his Oxford studies.
All social distancing advice will be followed and at present I am taking bookings for a maximum of two distinct groups only.
